KNOWN ISSUES

Some player stats (seen in the post-match, and Player Record areas of the UI) may be incorrect. This is an issue that we are currently investigating.

Leaderboards are currently removed from the game due to technical issues, we plan to add our leaderboards back into the game as soon as possible.

+ iPHONE X PERFORMANCE

We are aware of some general performance and frame rate issues on iPhone X and iPhone XS. The Dev team are working hard to optimize the game for these devices and address these issues as soon as possible.

GAME MODES

+ IS THERE AN ONLINE MODE?

Yes. Blitz mode allows players to play online and compete against each other.

This is a 2v2 online mode where the player picks two characters, one which they control and another as an AI teammate. Players can switch controls between either character whenever they wish.

Players are also rewarded for achieving win streaks against online opponents - the higher the win streak the greater the reward:

  • 3 wins – Bronze Blitz trophy

  • 6 wins – Silver Blitz trophy

  • 9 wins – Gold Blitz trophy

Once the trophies have been won, the player will continue to earn an Artifact for every 6 game win streak after that.

+ IS THERE AN OFFLINE MODE?

There are currently two offline modes in HyperBrawl.

Campaign - players create their own team and take part in the Galaxy League and Cosmic Cup.

  • In Galaxy League players team will face each of their league opponents twice. Trying to top the league table to win the Galaxy League trophy.

  • Cosmic Cup is a knockout tournament where the player will face random teams from their league in a unique 'tug of war' style' game mode to win the Cosmic Cup trophy.

Quick Play - A quick match mode for 1-4 players. Compete with or against humans and/or AI characters.

+ IS THERE A TRAINING MODE?

There are three training modes - The Trials, Advanced Training and Free Play.

  • The Trials acts as an introduction to the game, and a basic tutorial for players to get to grips with the fundamentals of the game.
This mode takes the player through a number of steps, asking the player to learn and practise their skills.

  • Advanced Training is the next step for players to learn after completing The Trials. This mode acts as an advanced tutorial, and set of mini games for players to learn and practise more advanced skills and tactics.

  • Free Play lets players practise with any of the characters and weapons in game at their own pace. Players have the option to freely swap between characters, weapons, add AI characters to practise against, and reduce cooldowns to practice their abilities.

+ WILL THERE BE CROSSPLAY?

Crossplay will be available across Apple Arcade supported devices.

We can't currently confirm whether crossplay will be available across other platforms.

DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT

+ WILL THERE BE ANY FREE DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT?

Yes. Free content will be added to the game post-release.

For Apple Arcade subscribers, all content will be free.

For other platforms, some content may be paid content but this will only ever be cosmetic items and will not affect gameplay balance in any way.

Once the game is released on a new platform, any previous content released on other platforms will also be included in that version of the game.

Free updates will consist of heroes, arenas and game modes. Paid content will consist of cosmetics i.e. skins and celebrations (ball trails and goal blazes).

+ WILL THIS CONTENT MAKE THE GAME PAY TO WIN?

No. As all players will have access to the free content (arenas, heroes and game modes) and all paid content is cosmetic only, there will be no chance for it ever to be play to win. The cosmetics have no effect on character stats.

+ CAN I PLAY WITH OTHERS IF I HAVE NO DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT?

Yes you can. Everyone will have free updates so the content needed to play the game will be the same across all players. The paid downloadable content is cosmetic only which will not affect your ability to play with anyone else.

Just make sure you're updated to the latest version of HyperBrawl and also your platform operating system to get the latest content.

HEROES AND CLASSES

+ WHAT ARE THE CHARACTER CLASSES?

There are three characters classes:

  • Core – Generally good at every aspect of the game, but don’t excel in any specific skills.

  • Swift – Fast and lightweight. Blistering fast pace and agility, more controlled accurate shots, but weaker than other classes.

  • Tank – Slow and powerful. Can make bone crunching tackles and make ultra-powerful shots, but slow and cumbersome.

+ WHAT DO THE HERO STATS MEAN?

There are 4 player stats that affect how each Hero plays:

  • Strength – Affects punch/kick damage and shot power.

  • Speed – Affects run, dive, kick speed.

  • Stamina – Affects amount of health and sprint limit.

  • Finesse – Affects Hyper Curve control.
